A few weeks ago I saw the big tent up near South Towne Mall in Sandy, Utah and wondered what it could be. I thought that perhaps South Towne had added some type of new permanent attraction. As we drove to our destination I read aloud to my husband about the New Odysseo by Cavalia and how amazing it was going to be, which left us both wanting to go. This show is like nothing I have ever heard of, and they have gone at great lengths to make it the most incredible thing you will ever see. With over 65 horses, 48 multidisciplinary artists, 68 thousand square feet, and 10 thousand tons of stone, dirt, and sand are required to build this massive stage – even an underground drain system is built to flood 4000 gallons of recycled water for a splashing finale! This show is bound to be amazing! You can see more information, purchase some tickets and watch a video found at http://po.st/aUHNDG
This is what some people are saying about the show:
“It’s not a horse show, it’s not a play, it’s not Cirque du Soleil, it’s not a 3D movie, it’s not a concert. It’s all of these things, blended in a way that elevates the spirit.”- Atlanta Journal Constitution
“Beyond Spectacular! An enthralling equestrian epic and about as gorgeous as it gets!”- The San Francisco Chronicle
