AP24 by NuSkin Toothpaste Review

I was given a complimentary tube of toothpaste from my distributor in compensation for this review. The views and opinions expressed are entirely my own.

I’ve never really loved my teeth.  I’ve never had braces so they are a little crooked. I’ve never bleached my teeth, because I’m too cheap. I’ve never used whitening strips. But when a friend of mine was sharing a toothpaste that she believes to be truly wonderful, and I know I can trust her, I decided to give it a try. This less expensive option of whitening teeth gave me hope.

The toothpaste is called AP 24 by Nu Skin.  This is the info Missy (my distributor) shared with me.

Here is why this toothpaste is great:
-No Bleaches or Harsh Chemicals (so it won’t hurt your teeth or make them sensitive)
-No Sugar 
-Not Damaging to Enamel

I feel like my results were not drastic but that my teeth have become whiter, more clean looking.  I have to remember that this is not a bleach product but a stain removing product that takes your teeth to their natural white. The taste is great and I feel like it keeps my teeth as clean as any other toothpaste.

I have to say that sharing these pictures of my teeth is really outside my comfort zone. Looking this closely at my teeth makes me hate them even more. After taking close up pictures of my teeth for this review, I have a greater desire to get braces.  Is that dumb for a 41 year old to get braces? Maybe not, I know a handful of people that do it at my age.

This picture shows my results after 1 month of use. I can see a slight change in the yellow of my teeth. I would think that if I continue, the results will be even better. (These pictures have absolutely no editing. I wish I would have chosen a different lighting position, but this is what you get when life is crazy and it’s a quick picture in the middle of chaos. Teeth definitely look more yellow out in the sun, I took my husband’s pictures inside and mine outside)

My husband was skeptical, but tried it for me.  He felt like the toothpaste didn’t keep his teeth clean as long as the Colgate Total toothpaste we usually use. He does like the flavor and feels like it’s smoother, less gritty, than other toothpastes we’ve used.  He was only using AP24 once a day. This picture also shows results after 1 month of use.  I don’t really see a difference.

I think it’s important to brush without water and to brush with it twice a day for about 2min. (Missy gives a little instruction sheet with your order)

So when all is said and done, I have no miracles to share and I can’t say that the results I got were what I was hoping for.  But I will keep using it and see if my teeth get more white over time. (I will update here with new pictures later)

I think that because of how inexpensive it is, this toothpaste is worth giving a try. I believe it probably works differently from person to person. My opinion is that if you use it as directed, then you will see some kind of results depending on how yellow your teeth are. It probably works better on people with coffee or nicotine stains.
